Last summer, millions of Americans were waiting for The Decision by LeBron. And now over 300 million Chinese basketball fans are waiting for the answer by Yao Ming in a few hours.
China’s CCTV-5, the dominant national sports channel is going to live broadcast the news conference that is to be held in Shanghai on July 20th, 14:00 Beijing time. CCTV-5 sports commentator Yu Jia will have an exclusive interview with Yao Ming at 15:30. The whole program named The Legend of YAO will continue for 5 hours. The Rockets GM Daryl Morey is reported to be attending the conference, which has been authorized by the NBA.

Chinese basketball lovers are expressing their best wishes for Yao Ming’s future career on China’s Twitter, Sina Weibo. Yao Ming’s good friend, the author of A Shorter Yao In My Eyes, Chinese basketball journalist Wang Meng said on his Sina Weibo,
